There's no need to explain much again about Destruction. Germany's veteran thrashers, or rather, the thrash metal genre itself. was deeply involved in the formation of Destruction and was one of the pioneering bands that continued to lead the scene. Such is the case with Destruction's new album, "Born to Perish", their 14th will be released. (How many studio albums this is, though, is a matter of debate. ) Destruction has had several re-recorded studio albums, and even more in the 90's, when they are currently releasing their It's because they've released too much black history albums that they haven't acknowledged existed).

Destruction, formed in 1982, released 1984's Sentence of Death EP Debut. Their first full-length, Infernal Overkill, released the following year in 1985, was followed by The history of black metal, death metal, and even the birth of grindcore This is a milestone in the history of music. Eternal Devastation (1986) is also a masterpiece. . But the dark ages of thrash metal in the late '80s and early '90s It also cast a dark shadow over Destruction: in 1989, the face of the band, vocalist/ Bassist Schmierer left the band. The remaining members continue to perform under the name Destruction, but without Schmierer. Destruction was forced to go astray. Schmierer returned in 1999, ten years after he left the band, with 00's All Hell Starting with "Breaks Loose" and then releasing a studio album every few years The band has continued to keep up the pace of their work, and has been working steadily until today.

Now, the release of "Born to Perish" is the first step in the new Destruction This is the work that will be the first of its kind. The core members are still Schmierer and guitarist Mike. However, the drummer has been replaced by Randy Black. Randy is from Canada and has been in Anai Alater and Primal Fear It's fierce. But, well, a drummer change is an annual event for Destruction. Just looking at their activities since 2006, they are already the fourth generation in Randy. What's surprising is that they added another guitarist. One might think it's a bit of an exaggeration to have two guitarists, but Destruction is a trio. But Destruction was a band that had a policy of being a trio. Schmierer said, "We feel most comfortable with a three-man band, and I don't see why we would bother changing that. And the microphone guy also said, "I prefer a three-person band, and it's easier to do it because there's less noise on stage. He made it clear. Of course, Destruction had had a second guitarist in the past. For some reason, 1987's "Release from Agony is certainly a four-person production. But this is a film that is uniquely positioned for Destruction. Schmierer and Mike, after going through this film, said that a three-man group is the best way to go, and in fact, 20 years We've been working with three guys for almost a year. And now they have added another guitarist to the band, so this is not a surprise. Ugh. Schmierer added, "I've always wanted to add another guitarist to the band," he said simply. They are reversing the previous statement!

In fact, if you listen to Born to Perish, you'll see why they readily retracted their previous statement. It's understandable. That's how good this film is. Schmierer once said, "Twin guitars aren't bad, but it's not easy to find a second guitarist who fits the bill. But it's not easy to find a second guitarist that fits the bill. It was. In other words, we'd be willing to consider a four-piece band if only we had the right people to do so. Finally, we found a guitarist who "fits the bill". That person is Damia Eskich. Damir Eskich, from Switzerland, played guitar solo on the last album "Under Attack" (2004) Participation. In addition, the Swiss female heavy metal band Schmierer manages, the Burning Witches album, recording and producing the Destruction He has participated in V.O. Pulver's project, GURD, which he has been in charge of for many years, so to speak. They are a genuine Destruction family. On top of that, having been a big fan of the band for many years, I couldn't have asked for a better choice. Harmonies are sprinkled throughout the riffs and melodies, and the advantages of having two guitars are fully utilized. is nothing short of a further upgrade of Destruction. If you can do this kind of work, there's no reason to stick with a three-piece. With two guitars, the possibilities for writing, recording, and playing live have expanded. Schmierer's statement, "I guess he doesn't really mean it.

Born to Perish is another step forward for veteran band Destruction Works. Their evolution has not yet stopped.
