A new challenge by the leading figure of German metal, Accept. The live performance with an orchestra in the sacred city of Wacken was finally realized. A milestone live work is proudly completed.


Germany's leading heavy metal band, Acccept, is a member of the '80s metal movement's After a brief breakup, the group returned in 2009. One of Accept's musical characteristics is the introduction of classical music. Wolf Hoffman (g), the brains behind the band, often incorporates classical phrases into his guitar solos and it adds even more character to the strong metal sound of Acceptance.

Wolf released his second solo album of classic adaptations in '16, The dream of playing guitar with an orchestra in the background in "Headbangers Symphony The world's largest metal festival in Germany in '17. The idea for the "Bakken Open Air" concert was to perform live with an orchestra. This idea was further developed into an idea for the first part of the concert, Wolf's solo with the orchestra on "Wacken Open Air". The second part, which is the orchestra's second part, and the third part, in which the orchestra joins with the main body of the acceptor. The special multi-stage show was to take place on the Bakken stage.
