Unleash the Archers from Canada is a band with a classical background and led by a power vocal vocalist who holds the voice of four octaves. Their style is often referred to as a melodic power metal band, but because of their death vocal, the band could perform more than our expectation.

In 2007, Unleash the Archers was formed centering on Brittney and drummer Scott Buchanan. In 2009, they released their self-produced debut album "Behold the Devastation". After the second self-produced album "Demons of the AstroWaste" was released in 2011, they finally signed a contract with a famous label in Europe ―Napalm records. At performance, melody, lyrics, they became stronger with major atmosphere and released “Time Stands Still” in 2015, which spread the name of Unleash the Archers to the world at once. Released in 2017, the next work "apex" showed us their power-up strength. With the weapon of overwhelming singing power of Brittney, Unleash the Archers is leading to conquer the power metal world.

Three years from the previous work, this album "Abyss” is perfectly prepared to release as their fifth album. While the title name “Apex" meant "the vertex", this time is the reverse, “Abyss” means ”bottomed deep hole". “Apex” was a concept album with an immortal main character, and "Abyss” is its sequel, so that the expectation of the fan will certainly increase. Of course, “Abyss" responds splendidly to such expecting expectation. They have twin lead guitars with a strong melody like a German band. Tight performance, Brittney's beautiful voice combined with death voice. From the album to the lyrics, it shows a fantastic world view. It is good to say this work is filled with Unleash the Archers that we know.

Jacob Hansen is responsible for engineering/mastering as the last work, the production is perfect, too.

The cover of Corry Hart’s “Sunglasses at night" is recorded as a bonus track for Japan special version.
