Opeth has endlessly expanded the art created by the combination of progressive rock and heavy metal. Their first album in three years, soon marking their 30 year anniversary, has been released after recording in both their native Swedish and English languages. While illuminating the roots that flow in your body, please enjoy this deep research that forms an inexhaustible sound world!

On the 30th anniversary of the band's formation, Opeth is staring at his own roots and building a music that doesn't get bogged down in retrospect, but continues to make great strides. I wonder how far this band and Mikael kerfeldt's attitude will go.

It was David Isberg, not Mikael, who formed the band in 1990 in Stockholm, Sweden. Mikhail was initially invited to play bass, but by the time the debut album Orchid was released in 1995, the Mikhail regime that continues to this day was launched. The band expanded their range of expression through an encounter with dark yet emotionally resonant prog and death metal: their second album "Morning Rise" in 1996, the third "My Arms, Your Hearth" in 1997, and the fourth "Still Life" in 1999, which crossed genres and A new contour is administered to the entrenched "heavies".

With the release of "Blackwater Park" in 2001, the fifth album he made with Porcupine Tree's Stephen Wilson, the band expanded their activities not only in Europe but also in the U.S. The band released "Deliverance" in 2002 and "Dumb Nation" in 2003. The band released "Ghost Reveries" in 2005, and in 2006, they performed in Japan for the first time at the first LOUD PARK 06, and became recognized in Japan. They released "Watershed" in 2008 and "Heritage" in 2011, and they became a band that could perform in Japan every time they released an album.

After 'Pail Communion' in 14 and 'Sosales' in 16, he released 'Garden of the Titans' in May 2017, which recorded his live performance at "Red Rock Outdoor Theater" in Denver, Colorado, USA. Michael had been away from the band for a while before he started working on his first album in three years, but one morning he took his children to school and came up with the idea of making a bilingual album.

It was a journey back to the band's roots and summed up the band's career from its origins to the present. It was meant to be. You are left immersed in the aesthetics of the sound, which is even divine. A sense of the grand scale of the band's search for the path they should be taking now, as they return to their roots. The insatiable ambition towards music, deconstructing what has been built up and building again, is renewed. He created a work of art with a bizarre density!
