Glory Days 1150 [2Blu-rays+CD]【Japan Edition w/ OBI】

The video work of the tour with the masterpiece "CRIMSON & JET BLACK", which is the fruit of Naoto Shibata's beliefs, is finally unleashed!

On April 21, 2023, ANTHEM released their studio album "CRIMSON & JET BLACK" worldwide, with all songs written in English. When ANTHEM completed this album, which was thoroughly focused on being truly "heavy metal," their leader Naoto Shibata felt a certain response that was unique from any of their past albums. The fact that Naoto performed "CRIMSON & JET BLACK" in its entirety at 3 of the 11 gigs during the "CRIMSON & JET BLACK TOUR 2023" in May and June is definitely another indication of his confidence in this work. I witnessed the complete reproduction live at Saitama Shin Toshin and was absolutely convinced that "CRIMSON & JET BLACK" is indeed an album that should be performed in its entirety. I can say that the essence of this work became clear through the complete live performance.

Naoto began writing songs for this album on September 18, 2020, and although the recording began in January 2021, he made a decision to stop the production because "the songs were not enough". Later he resumed working on the songs, and one year later he started recording again, but Naoto decided to postpone it once more, because he was yet unsure about the songs. When he finally finished the work, Naoto mentioned that he had a gut feeling that he needed to start a tour for this album again after the spring tour.

In 2020, ANTHEM announced that Graham Bonnet would join them for the final leg of their 35th anniversary tour. However, the tour was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ANTHEM was not allowed to invite Graham from overseas for the "35+" tour in the following year as well. Finally, the long-cherished wish was fulfilled at the "Re-ATTACK" tour finale.

This video work that is being released includes performances of the final day of "CRIMSON & JET BLACK TOUR 2023" at Zepp Shinjuku and the complete reproduction of "CRIMSON & JET BLACK" at Saitama Shin Toshin. The "1150" in the title "GLORY DAYS 1150" comes from the fact that it took 1,150 days from the start of songwriting up to the tour final with Graham. The 1,150 days of struggle and brilliant results of Naoto Shibata, "a man who never allows himself to be compromised," are condensed here.
