Since the leading Japanese Heavy Metal band, ANTHEM, world-widely released the album entitled "Nucleus" in 2019, four years have already passed. The last album was a re-recording of their classics with the English lyrics, but finally now they are ready to release the brand new studio album called "Crimson & Jet Black". All the songs are sung in English and the album will be simultaneously released all over the world.
After finishing 2 anniversary tours in 2021, the 35th anniversary tour, which was postponed due to the pandemic, and the 20th anniversary of reunion tour entitled "ANTHEM vs ANTHEM 2001", ANTHEM started working on a new album to start up their new chapter. It was supposed to be finished in the spring of 2022, however, their leader, Naoto Shibata is a perfectionist and didn't think the quality of the songs met their standard and pushed back the recording schedule to Summer / Autumn. Like the past albums, Naoto is the main producer of the album, but this time Jens Bogren, who mixed and mastered “Nucleus” is credited as a co-producer.
Topping the past works is what ANTHEM have been always after in the 21st century and it's obvious that they've made it with this album. This sounds like no other than ANTHEM and it sounds fresh at the same time. They have proved again that they are one of the world's most competitive Heavy Metal bands.
Don't miss their new chapter that has just begun!
